Joy Purple Cat is a website for kids and teens who love asking "why?" and "how?". It is a friendly place to learn about the world, one curious question at a time.

Our mission

AI is becoming part of everyday life. We want to help young people grow up with AI: understanding how it works, using it wisely, and staying safe. Just as important, we want to help every kid discover the strengths that make them uniquely human, like creativity, kindness, curiosity and courage.

Meet Joy, the purple cat

Joy started out as an ordinary white cat. One day she took a big leap into a bucket of purple paint and came out completely purple, with her golden bell still jingling! Now Joy is your guide around the site. Like Joy, we think the best adventures start with a brave jump into something new.

For parents and teachers

Everything here is written for young readers. If you have ideas for topics, or spot something that could be explained better, we would love to hear from you.
